Seattle University
Seattle University offers a bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound. It offers opportunities for receiving a liberal arts education, as well as practical and instructive exposure to ultrasound specialties. Students have access to a fully equipped lab with ultrasound imaging systems, computerized classrooms, UltraSim and MedSim, anatomical models and a laboratory library. The coursework includes medical imaging, echocardiography, vascular evaluation and Doppler methods of cardiac evaluation and human cross-section anatomy. A full year internship program is deemed successfully completed after the academic coursework requirements are met and thereafter the sonographer certification is issued upon completion. The program in Diagnostic Ultrasound is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.

Mainz Ultrasound Training
Mainz Ultrasound Training offers courses that help one to get certified as an ultrasound technologist in less than two years. The college has trained more than one thousand seven hundred successful students, who are now working all over the world. It offers practical training programs that are developed for allied health professionals; foreign medical graduates and existing ultrasound technologists who wish to acquire additional skills in ultrasound examination. The courses are taught by an American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers certified instructors with almost 20 years of teaching experience in the field. A certificate of participation is awarded to participants upon successful completion of our training programs.

Rochester Institute of Technology
Rochester Institute of Technology offers a bachelor’s degree program in diagnostic medical sonography. The program runs for two to four years including the internship, depending on prior experience and education. It offers programs in Ultrasound Technology that lead to either a Bachelor of Science degree or a Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.  The bachelor’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography program emphasizes skills in research and administration and the development of more advanced scanning and diagnostic abilities.

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts California
Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts provides an ultrasound technologist program for 18 months. The program provides students with in depth knowledge of abdominal sonography, small parts, obstetrics and gynecologic studies, and ultrasound physics instrumentation. The programs have clinical sessions where the students are assigned to clinical rotations in hospitals and various outpatient centers in the community. There is also clinical internship which helps students gain experience that prepares them for entry-level positions in Ultrasonography.

George Washington University
George Washington University offers sonography certificate programs and a bachelor’s degree in sonography. The program emphasizes both theory and practical education with clinical experiences. The program takes two years. It also offers clinical rotations which occur simultaneously with the coursework each semester. Students complete one thousand six hundred and eighty hours of clinical rotations, if pursuing the single clinical practice selection, and require an additional five hundred hours if pursuing a combined clinical practice selection. The sonography certificate program at George Washington University is fully accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
